In a move to add value to its high-speed fiber broadband footprint, GoNetspeed this week announced that the company will officially begin offering DIRECTV service.

The service will offer new and current GoNetspeed subscribers live local TV channels, with on-demand content and premium programming via fiber internet using a DIRECTV Gemini set-top-box device. New or existing GoNetspeed customers may choose to set up the service via the set-top box.

Per a GoNetspeed press release, DIRECTV package pricing ranges from $64.99 to $154.99 per month.

All packages include unlimited cloud DVR capability, providing customers with access to all recordings at home or remotely. Subscribers will be billed for the service integration through a new DIRECTV account, separate from their GoNetspeed account.

In 2021, AT&T completed its transaction to establish a corporately refurbished DIRECTV.

With access to GoNetspeed's 100% fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) internet service, subscribers can receive symmetrical upload and download speeds ranging from 250 Mbps to 1 Gbps (1,000 Mbps).

GoNetspeed president and CEO Richard Clark commented:

“We are continuously searching for ways to add value to our high-speed fiber service for our customers. We’ve worked closely with the DIRECTV team to ensure that their service was seamlessly integrated with our existing infrastructure and service offerings, making it an easy and convenient choice for our customers. We are looking forward to the opportunities that this partnership provides for our business and for our customers.”

Existing GoNetspeed customers can visit www.gonetspeed.com/directv to add the service option.
