JAINHITS, an Indian HITS-based direct to network (DTN) service, has selected set-tops from ARRIS' (NASDAQ:ARRS) HMC portfolio to deliver digital video services across the nation. Currently, JAINHITS offers more than 252 SD channels, following the launch of the nationwide ARRIS digital headend earlier this year, and plans to soon provide HD services via the new ARRIS set-tops, including the HMC1010 SD set-top and the HMC2010 HD set-top.

JAINHITS is a satellite-based digital cable TV distribution platform that provides digitized and encrypted satellite TV signals directly to the cable network owners.
