The AirScout Solution is designed to optimize the in-home WiFi configuration with Intelligent Channel Selection and Optimal Access Point Location. The amount of traffic to each access point is measured over time, and true optimal channel selection criteria are provided. After AirScout surveys the home for WiFi readiness, it provides optimal location.

Additionally, AirScout assesses user experience over WiFi before the installation is finished. Client-side visibility into whole-home quality of experience (QoE) identifies issues and suggests solutions. A "heat map" of the residence helps a technician understand and explain to the consumer which locations will or will not support certain applications. Additional hardware can be recommended to fix the gaps in coverage.
