At Expo, Corning Cable Systems will feature its latest solutions designed for use in all-fiber access networks, including commercial services; fiber-to-the-home (FTTH); and fiber-to-the-antenna (FTTA) applications. Customers will get first-hand experience with Corning's flexible FTTH deployment solution sets, beginning in the headend and progressing to three preconnectorized methods of reaching the commercial/subscriber premises: Distributed Split, Local Convergence, and Branch/Star architectures. Each solution set includes interoperable components.The exhibit will also include a section dedicated to Corning's wireless solutions. Evolant Solutions for Wireless Networks are designed to fit into customers' network deployments and enable service providers to install and upgrade wireless networks. The wireless solution features the OptiSheath MF2 MultiPort Terminal, Remote Radio Fiber Optic Cable Assembly, Remote Radio Distribution Terminal, Cell Site Drop Assembly, and the Wireless Consolidation Terminal.The exhibit will include demonstrations of Corning's OptiSnap Connector and two new tools for designing headend and outside plant networks. Corning will also display a 46-inch LCD touch-screen TV. By touching an image, visitors can access detailed information about the products and solutions on display.
