Electroline has upgraded its DHT-PS status monitoring transponders with enhanced functionality that is downloadable to existing deployed transponders. The company is also providing adaptors to existing battery sensing cables to eliminate the need to buy and rewire batteries. The new features are intended to ease adaptation of the transponders to existing power supplies, as well as newly deployed equipment. The DHT-PS is available as an embedded or external universal transponder and uses the DOCSIS platform for the command and control channel to report performance and status of distribution network equipment such as standby power supplies and nodes. It'll be highlighted at Electroline’s booth at Cable-Tec Expo.
