CommScope's Low Count Fiber Drop cable is designed specifically for one- or two-fiber drop applications in FTTx networks. It's a 4 mm × 2 mm lightweight (8 lbs per 1,000 ft) cable. The all-dielectric, gel-free cable is also designed to eliminate the time and cost associated with bonding and grounding. It's intended to complement CommScope's BrightPath Optical Solutions portfolio of headend, outside plant and end-user solutions for residential, MDU, commercial and cellular backhaul applications.
