Cogeco Expands DOCSIS 3.0 in Quebec

Cogeco Cable announced the launch of its DOCSIS 3.0-based Turbo 20, Ultimate 40 and Ultimate 60 High Speed Internet (HSI) packages in Gaspé and Matane, Quebec.The new Turbo 20 package offers a download speed of up to 20 Mbps, upload speeds of up to 1.5 Mbps and a monthly data transfer capacity of 100 GB. The Ultimate 40 package offers speeds of up to 40 Mbps for downloads and up to 2 Mbps for uploads with monthly data transfer capacity of 175 GB. For the Ultimate 60 package, speeds is up to 60 Mbps for downloads and 2 Mbps for uploads with a monthly data transfer capacity of 250 GB.The Turbo 20, Ultimate 40 and Ultimate 60 packages will continue to be rolled out gradually throughout Cogeco's territory.
