WooshCom Miniaturizes GigE Aggregator

At Expo, WooshCom will be showing its CSX-1641 miniature quad ASI input module with GigE input and GigE output ports. It's designed for the aggregation of DVB-ASI satellite receiver streams into GigE. It has four ASI ports per module. Each ASI input port is designed to accept up to 213 Mbps, and each GigE port is designed to transport up to 950 Mbps of data.Multiple CSX modules may be cascaded together using the GigE ports to form aggregation groups of different sizes. It also features MPEG Null packet filtering. The CSX-1641's size (4.8 x 3.3 x 0.9 inches) is intended for "zero rack space install" in the wiring harness area behind the satellite receivers.
