The Lindsay Broadband DOCSIS (LBDG) and Optical (LBOG) gateways are designed to communicate to and power any access point, IP camera, etc. on the HFC strand. New business customers can be activated utilizing either DOCSIS or optical backhaul for a point-to-point wireless link. The outdoor hardened gateways can also be used to deliver Ethernet services from the strand to as many as four business customers.The LBDG uses a DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem that's deigned to allow SNMP monitoring to evaluate cable plant line conditions. The LBOG uses a managed 10/100/1000 media converter equipped with standard SFP slots for GigE services up to 120 km.
