Virgin Media in the UK has deployed Harmonic's (NASDAQ:HLIT) ProMedia family of software solutions to power a new multiscreen service called Virgin TV Anywhere. The service includes 45 live TV channels on a range of devices, including TVs, PCs, smartphones, and tablets. Customers can also manage recorded programs and control TiVo set-top boxes through a Virgin TV Anywhere app.
