Vela Research has announced the general availability of its ArgoNavis QC Automation solution. It's designed to enable file-based QC and verification of programming, VOD, ad spots and promos in a multiscreen environment.The solution is designed to support most standard video and audio formats, bit-rates, frame-rates and resolutions. It allows creation of templates to automatically check files against specifications, and also to define flags, alerts or alarms. It features decison rules based processing, scheduling, creation of watch folders and report-generation.Automatic functions include:


  • Closed captioning verification


  • Frame integrity


  • SDI and VANC data


  • Video and audio metadata


  • CableLabs compliance


  • Audio integrity/loudness levels


  • CALM Act compliance
