Hitron Technologies Americas has selected the MaxLinear (NYSE:MXL) MxL267 Full-Spectrum Capture (FSCTM) digital cable front-end receiver for a family of DOCSIS 3.0 cable modems and gateways.First in Hitron's new cable gateway family, the CGN3, recently achieved certification from CableLabs. The CGN3 is a high-speed gateway designed to deliver speeds of up to 960 Mbps via 24 bonded downstream channels over its DOCSIS interface.
