At the CableLabs Summer Conference, Azuki Systems announced the integration of its Media Platform dynamic video provisioning platform with the new small form-factor "Android Stick" IP set-top box from LG Electronics. The integrated solution is intended as a cost-effective broadband HDTV service experience on any TV in the home, without requiring a traditional set-top box and a truck roll.The integration of Azuki's Media Platform and its client-based architecture is intended to turn the LG Android Stick into an interactive and portable device capable of receiving TV Everywhere services, including time-shifted linear TV, network DVR and transactional VOD. The LG Android Stick is part of LG Electronics' recently released suite of set-top boxes.
