Electroline has announced the availability of its new RFoG optical node, the Electroline Deep Fiber Optical Node (EDN). It's an optical RFoG receiver with burst return transmitter designed to allow service providers to continue to leverage traditional HFC equipment and back-office applications with new FTTC deployments.The EDN can be strand mounted, with a single or dual RF output, capable of +56 dBmV output signal at 1,003 MHz when configured as single output. The outdoor optical node is intended for FTTx, high density MDU or university applications. It's available with burst or continuous return transmitter.The new product will be displayed at Cable-Tec Expo.
