Clearfield (NASDAQ:CLFD) is introducing three new configurations of its FieldShield SmarTerminal. The above-grade or below-grade sealed enclosures are 4.5 inches in diameter and 6 inches in height and designed to be mounted within a pedestal, flower pot or vault using a Snap-on Toggle Head or universal L-bracket or Z-bracket.

They feature up to 1 meter of internal slack storage as well as external slack storage and are intended for various FTTx scenarios, including active, centralized split, distributed split, business class services or cell backhaul. Providing up to16 ports of feeder and drop cable connectivity, the SmarTerminal is optimized for use with Clearfield's FieldShield optical cable and microduct.
