Espial (TSX:ESP) will demonstrate an HTML5 TV user experience demo on multiple RDK (Reference Design Kit) IP and hybrid set-top boxes for attendees of the upcoming RDK User Conference on Feb. 11 in Denver.
The Espial demo will showcase HTML5 user experiences on RDK set- top boxes. The company's STB Client is designed to give operators maximum flexibility and is capable of bringing new applications to any RDK-based STB.
Espial recently announced it was chosen by a tier 1 cable operator as the RDK integrator to deliver an RDK-based set-top with its application framework and out-of-the-box HTML5 user experience.
