During the annual SXSW music, film and interactive conference and festival held in Austin, TX, visitors to Austin will have free access to more than 1,500 Time Warner Cable (NYSE:TWC) WiFi hotspots. TWC is opening up access to the hotspots for non-customers March 7 through March 12.

The MSO plans to add 1,000 more hotspots in the Austin area later this year.
