Harris Broadcast is splitting into two standalone companies, Imagine Communications and GatesAir. Imagine will focus on the service provider IP, software, cloud and TV Everywhere markets, with an emphasis on delivering and monetizing multiscreen content. GatesAir will focus on the broadcast TV and radio over-the-air markets. Harris bought Imagine Communications in January.
