China Network System, a Taiwanese MSO serving more than 1 million subscribers, has adopted HD set-tops (HMC3000) and a middleware platform (KreaTV) from ARRIS (NASDAQ:ARRS) for its transition to digital video. CNS plans to use the ARRIS digital video solutions to deploy two-way applications over its IP network and its digital TV service, bbTV.

ARRIS is also providing HFC solutions to CNS and is its sole supplier of DOCSIS 3.0 cable modems (SB6141) and gateways (SBG6580). The SB6141 and SBG6580 provide the return path for the HMC3000 to enable two-way applications on KreaTV.
