Envivio (NASDAQ:ENVI) announced that its Muse encoding software now powers more than 10,000 live linear cable TV channels in a virtualized software environment, outputting nearly 33,000 live adaptive bitrate (ABR) streams for multiscreen video services. The deployment was launched over the past 12 months at a tier 1 U.S. cable operator, using VMWare virtualization and Envivio video processing solutions.
