At CommunicAsia2014 in Singapore, Broadpeak will showcase its CDN and video server technologies for cable, IPTV, OTT, and mobile networks. Specific products and technologies being showcased will include the company's nanoCDN video delivery technology, streaming servers and CDN equipment, and the umbrellaCDN CDN selection tool.

The latest version of Broadpeak's nanoCDN features upgrades for live multiscreen, transparent video caching and VOD pre-caching. The live multiscreen upgrade is designed to turn deployed broadband gateways or STBs into active components of an operator's content delivery infrastructure by implementing multicast support for Microsoft Smooth Streaming and Apple HLS formats. The transparent caching application is designed to help operators handle unmanaged video content on their backbones. VOD pre-caching is intended to let service providers pre-cache content in the users' home network during off-peak times.
