At CommunicAsia, Conax will feature its new OTT Access SDK, an OTT client developed for pay TV operators building a basic over-the-top offering. The company will also launch a solution for secure streaming of live TV to iOS and Android devices.

The as-yet-unnamed secure streaming solution is designed for operators planning to offer an initial pay TV service with limited investment and a fast time to market. Its name and other details will be released at the show.

Conax OTT Access is intended to complement the company's Hardened PlayReady Client. The two OTT Clients are integrated within the Conax Contego security hub and are designed to be interchangeable to facilitate upgrades for increased security requirements or need for additional features.
