Solekai Systems announced the successful development and delivery of PiXiE for Path 1. PiXiE is an IP network encoder and decoder with MPEG-DASH technology designed to simplify SD/HD-SDI video transport. Solekai provided project management services, system design, software development, and test plan documentation. Solekai 10X engineers also delivered control plane and data plane software that PiXiE uses for MPEG-DASH compliance.

The PiXiE encoder and decoder are designed to deliver compressed MPEG-4 AVC video over any IP network.
