RGB Networks is showcasing its CloudXtream solution portfolio at Cable-Tec Expo. CloudXtream is an orchestrated cloud solution based on the open source operating system OpenStack. It's designed to facilitate and accelerate the deployment of monetization services such as Ad Insertion for Multiscreen (AIM) and network DVR.

The software-based solution is designed to automatically respond to elastic demand for transcoding or "cloud bursting" scenarios, while still supporting live, time-shifted or on-demand programming to multiple of screens, regardless of protocol.
