Time Warner Cable (NYSE:TWC) says it has completed upgrading its high-speed data network in the Austin, TX, metro area and that all of its customers in that market now have access to Internet speeds up to 300 Mbps downstream and 20 Mbps upstream.
The upgrades are part of the MSO's TWC Maxx program, currently being implemented in Austin, New York City and Los Angeles, and which also includes reliability and digital video improvements. TWC plans to launch the upgrades in seven more markets next year.
