Sony (NYSE:SNE) has launched PlayStation Vue, a cloud-based TV service, on PlayStation4 and PlayStation3 computer entertainment systems. Offering live and on-demand TV content over the Internet, the OTT service is available initially in New York, Chicago and Philadelphia, with more markets expected to launch later this year. Three packages are available, ranging from $49.99 to $69.99 a month.

Service features include live TV, personalization, cloud DVR and several discovery options. The company also plans to make the service available on iPad and other devices in the future.
