Clearfield (NASDAQ:CLFD) has introduced the FieldSmart Makwa Fiber Distribution Hub (FDH). The hub can be placed either above or below ground in a 24 x 36 x 24 inch vault or hand-hole. It features 288 port PON or 432 cross-connect and is enclosed in a black impact and UV resistant PBT material. A removable top cover allows access to the fibers for service changes and maintenance.

The company has also introduced the Clearview Black fiber cassette that is 50% smaller than its Clearview Classic and Clearview Blue Cassettes. It provides up to 24 ports of connectivity, MPO/MTP and optical component integration, and is Telcordia GR-326 compliant. It also features an integrated splice tray and snap-together construction.
