AT&T (NYSE:T) is expanding the footprint of its fiber-based U-verse with GigaPower Internet service. Some of the 20+ launches are new markets, and some are expansions in existing markets.
New launches of the 1 Gbps-capable service, first launched in Austin, TX, include:
- Atlanta: Alpharetta, Cartersville, Duluth, East Point and Rome
- Chicago: Bolingbrook, Mundelein, Shorewood and Volo
- Clemmons
- Nashville: Gallatin
- Garner
- Houston: Hunters Creek Village and Rosenberg
- Holly Springs
- Munster: Bolingbrook, Mundelein, Shorewood and Volo, IL
- Miami: Coral Gables, Homestead, Miami Gardens and Parkland
- Nashville: Spring Hill
- Orlando: Oviedo and Sanford
- Salisbury
