CeeLIVE announced the launch of its cloud-based Live Video Content platform at SXSW 2016 in Austin, TX. The video platform is designed to provide immersive experiences with interactive widgets and monetization with analytics. The platform consists of proprietary video and audio encoding technology with an iOS mobile app, a video player, application and content management systems, a monetization engine and analytics dashboard.

The iOS app is intended to provide a mobile component to a web and social media platform for large-scale events. Artists and producers can promote and monetize their live event content, including concerts, theatrical shows, music festivals, comedy shows, and speaking events though the global CeeLIVE network of sponsors and distribution partners, using the self-service CeeLIVE platform. It integrates live content with sponsor messages in a single container to reach targeted and passionate fans.

Sponsors can optimize the sponsorship budget through digital activations of live content, and distribution partners can offer exclusive content to their customers and sponsors.
