Google Fiber in 3,000 Apartment Communities

Google Fiber (NASDAQ:GOOG) says its gigabit Internet service is now available in more than 3,000 apartment and condominium communities across its Fiber cities, plus an additional 300 Community Connections, which, in partnership with local nonprofit organizations, provide Internet access and digital literacy tools.

The company also recently launched the Google Hardware Program, intended to help property owners capitalize on the smart home ecosystem by offering preferred pricing on Google Home, Nest smart thermostats and other devices.
