Qwilt's Open Edge CDN enables service providers to build a private CDN to stream their own or third-party content, always delivering the same TV-like experience. The full-featured, cloud-based CDN platform uses Qwilt's in-network, software-based edge nodes, running virtualized on COTS hardware, and is designed to satisfy a wide range of content delivery scenarios, including VOD, live streaming and software downloads. Leveraging web-scale architecture, Qwilt's solution offers open APIs to commercial CDNs and tier 1 publishers, serving as a single point of integration for access to the service provider's Open Edge Cloud delivery infrastructure.
