The ATX GigaWave digital optical gateway platform enables cable operators to expand the capacity of fiber access links between headends/hubs and outside plant facilities in a cost-effective and pay-as-you-grow manner. The platform replaces expensive and inefficient analog optics with Ethernet optics that extend the reach and improve the reliability of the access network.
