Corning's LCPE with splice capabilities makes it easier and more cost-effective to deploy and maintain optical infrastructure at the local convergence point by combining all aspects of a traditional LCP into one 28-inch closure-style unit. The LCPE with splice capabilities enables onboard WDM mux/demux, full mid-span and splicing capability of 12-fiber feeders and 144-fiber distribution fibers. With a 144-fiber PON distribution panel for optical power splitting, 12-fiber feeder capability and up to 20 channels of mux/demux, the enclosure also allows for complete onboard splicing of feeder and distribution fibers.
