CommScope's ultra-density splice (UDS) panels provide extreme fiber port density in a modular, compact design. It is designed to scale with a data center's need (or a central office) and offers maximum fiber density up to 864 fibers in a 6RU panel. Panels are available in Method A, Enhanced Method B polarity and ultra-low loss performance. It requires no extra space for off-rack splicing, and it also cuts installation time by 50% (as compared to previous solutions). It can also be installed by one person. It has a fully removable drawer to allow a technician to comfortably splice at a table near the rack.
