At the SCTE/ISBE Cable-Tec Expo in Atlanta, Amino will unveil for the first time in North America its new video product portfolio.

The core elements of Amino's new offering include: AminoTV, a multiscreen video platform designed for customer segmentation; AminoOS, a set of software solutions for deploying and managing connected Linux and Android TV devices; and AminoVU, an IPTV and Android device portfolio.

David Perez, Amino's SVP of sales and marketing, said: "Cable-Tec Expo is a great opportunity to meet with leading players in the cable industry and gauge the key trends driving innovation and change. We're already seeing North American operators take the logical and cost-effective step towards an all-IP future and we look forward to showing visitors how we can help them gain a real advantage in the markets they serve."

Demonstrations at the show will include:

  • Cable-IP transition capabilities showing QAM feeds delivered to in-home devices via IP
  • "Operator Ready" Android TV Solutions demonstrating AminoTV and AminoOS integration between Android TV and ecosystem partners, including support for closed-captioning, multicast, EAS (Emergency Alert System) and cable cards
  • AminoOS Service Assurance, designed to solve configuration issues remotely, without truck rolls
