Alpha's External Maintenance Bypass Switch (XMBS) with Auto Sync makes scheduled maintenance or inverter replacement easier by allowing a manual transfer of connected equipment to utility power, without power disruption. The XMBS prevents transfer to the target source if the voltage or phase is not within an acceptable range.

The XMBS is available for the following applications:

  • 120 VAC single phase
  • 120/240 VAC split phase
  • 120/208 VAC two pole
  • 120/208 VAC three-phase applications

Judge's Comment: "The XMBS should make field maintenance easier and less impactful on the customer."
