Pennsylvania's Blue Ridge announces unlimited data, increases internet speeds

Blue Ridge also announced that its internet customers will receive $5 off of their monthly bill when they sign up for both AutoPay and paperless billing.

Pennsylvania's Blue Ridge Communications announced it is increasing its internet speeds and extending unlimited data to customers.

Effective December 1, Blue Ridge customers, at every speed tier, now receive unlimited data at no extra cost.

Along with unlimited data, Blue Ridge concurrently announced its broadband speed increase for the residential speed tiers as listed below. Effective December 1, these speed increases will not affect its customers’ rates as prices remain unchanged.

Blue Ridge now includes unlimited data with the following internet speeds:

  • Up to 1.2 Gig
  • Up to 600mbps increases to up to 700mbps
  • Up to 500mbps increases to up to 600mbps
  • Up to 400mbps increases to up to 500mpbs
  • Up to 300mbps increases to up to 400mbps
  • Up to 200mbps increases to up to 300mbps
  • Up to 75mbps increases to up to 100mbps
  • Up to 50mbps

AutoPay and paperless

Blue Ridge also announced that its internet customers will receive $5 off of their monthly bill when they sign up for both AutoPay and paperless billing. This offer will be available to all Blue Ridge internet customers effective December 6, 2022. (Some exclusions may apply.)

Blue Ridge has been providing cable TV to communities in Pennsylvania since 1950 and started its internet service in partnership with PenTeleData in 1994.
