TelstraClear, one of New Zealand's largest telecommunications companies, has selected GENBAND's (www.genband.com) IP portfolio to offer a full VoIP interconnection service for other carriers connecting to its next generation IP fixed voice network.In other GENBAND news, the company plans to establish its International Headquarters and Business Services Centre in Galway, Ireland, which represents an €8 million investment by the company that will create more than 100 new jobs. GENBAND's decision is supported by the Irish government with the aid of IDA Ireland (Industrial Development Agency).
