Neustar's (www.neustar.biz) IP enablers are designed to drive network efficiencies and improve service delivery in cable operators' networks via centralized routing along with addressing and policy analytics to facilitate migration to an all-IP network. The object is to optimize cost and performance for the voice component of the triple play. The centralized routing policy functionality is designed to consolidate the addressing and routing functionality from across islands of IP network devices, application delivery platforms, and the traditional voice network. Operators are now able to view the entire voice and messaging network holistically. The IP-enablers can also be delivered as a cloud-based service. The solution incorporates Multimedia Interconnect, a central numbering registry for number correction and interconnect routing; Margin Management, centralized analytics and real network business modeling; Real-time Routing, a routing analytics engine supporting cost, price, time, quality, and fraud algorithms; and Route Server, a centralized addressing and routing policy database for TDM and IP-based services.
