According to this Comcast blog post, the MSO is launching AnyPlay, a device to deliver all of a subscriber's linear TV channels, including live TV, to a WiFi router in the home network, which then distributes the secure video signal via the Xfinity TV app to tablets throughout the home. The service, powered by Motorola's Televation, currently supports Apple's iPad and is scheduled to add the Motorola Xoom soon. The initial launch is in Denver and Nashville, with additional markets planned in the coming months.
