Comcast Biz Adds Cloud-Based Voice

Comcast has announced Comcast Business VoiceEdge, a cloud-based voice and unified communications solution. Fully managed over Comcast's network, Business VoiceEdge is designed to eliminate the need for on-site PBX and key systems and provide a predictable monthly cost, as well as a common user experience and a full suite of unified communications features.Business VoiceEdge is now available across most of Comcast's Northeast Division, which includes 14 states from Maine through Virginia and the District of Columbia, as well as Chicago. Nationwide rollout across Comcast's entire footprint is targeted by the end of 2012.
