Comcast Launches Voice 2go

At the Cable Show, Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) introduced Voice 2go, a new suite of Xfinity Voice features that brings smartphone features to home phone service.The new features, accessible on iPhones, iPads, Androids, iPod touch devices and other smartphones, include free WiFi and 4G, 3G enabled outbound calling; advanced call forwarding of calls made to the home phone number to up to four additional phones or mobile devices; and Personal Phone Numbers, essentially a virtual number that can be assigned to up to four family members within the Xfinity Connect Mobile app so users can make calls and text for free when on a WiFi network.Voice 2go is accessible through the Xfinity Connect Mobile app, which can be downloaded for free on the iTunes Store or Android Market as well as online through Xfinity Connect online.
