Bright House Scores with Florida Schools

Bright House Networks has been awarded a multi-year services contract with Orange County, FL, Public Schools for the implementation and project management of a managed high-speed fiber-based network infrastructure to connect every campus to the Internet. Bright House Networks will supply services beginning July 1.As part of the agreement, Bright House will construct a dedicated private Metro Ethernet fiber network to connect all of Orange County Public Schools' 218 separate site locations. Bright House Networks will provide all OCPS locations Metro Ethernet transport and dedicated Internet access; manager routers; managed security, including firewall, content filtering and intrusion prevention; SIP voice services; and WiFi service.
