Verizon, Cox Roll in the Heartland

Verizon Wireless (NYSE:VZ) and Cox Communications are teaming up on video, phone, Internet and wireless services in the Omaha area, as well as Kansas and northwest Arkansas. Customers in these areas can now purchase packages of Cox video, Internet and voice services and Verizon Wireless smartphones and tablets from either company. In May, Verizon and Cox kicked off their first joint effort in the Oklahoma City and Tulsa vicinities.
