Cox Adds Channels to Multiscreen App

Dec. 10, 2012
Cox Communications has added 56 new channels to its Cox TV Connect app, as well as access via iPhone and iPod touch. The application creates a second-screen experience for customers to watch live TV programming in their home on their iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch device. Subs can also now schedule DVR recordings remotely.Introduced last December, the original Cox TV Connect app for iPad has been downloaded more than 420,000 times from Apple iTunes. It's available at no additional charge in the Apple App Store to customers who have Cox TV Essential or Advanced TV, and have Cox Preferred, Premier or Ultimate Internet service.
