NETGEAR Gateway Gets DOCSIS 3.0 Cert

NETGEAR's (NASDAQ:NTGR) CG4500 Voice/Data Gateway has received the CableLabs DOCSIS 3.0 certification. It's powered by MaxLinear's (NYSE:MXL) MxL267 Full-Spectrum Capture (FSC) digital cable front-end receiver.The new gateway is designed for 24 x 4 channel bonding, concurrent dual band wireless, and integrated MoCA. Features include two RJ11 voice ports supporting PacketCable, four Gigabit Ethernet and MoCA LAN ports, dual-band dual concurrent IEEE 802.11N wireless, and one USB 2.0 host port.
