Cox Business has expanded its portfolio of business solutions with the addition of PayLeap, a cloud-based merchant and card processing service from Acculynk. PayLeap is designed as an all-in-one suite of payment processing capabilities in a simple format. Cox Business is rolling out the offering across its footprint based on a successful pilot. The service is expected to be available to all 300,000+ Cox Business customers later this year.In other Cox news, the MSO has announced the Virginia launch of Connect2Compete, a national not-for-profit initiative that aims to extend broadband Internet access to families with children (K-12) participating in the National Free Lunch program, by offering discounted high-speed Internet service. The C2C program is modeled after a broadband adoption program Cox started in Santa Barbara, CA, in 2002.
