NETGEAR (NASDAQGM:NTGR) has introduced the NETGEAR DOCSIS 3.0 AC1900 Voice and Data Cable Gateway (C7000B). The C7000B is designed for WiFi speeds up to 1900 (600+1300) Mbps and DOCSIS speeds of up to 1 Gbps. The gateway uses NETGEAR's proprietary Beamforming+, which is intended to direct a WiFi "beam" to each device for a more consistent connection. Beamforming technology is also designed to work on legacy client devices.

The gateway features built-in NETGEAR Enhanced Support Tools, with SNMP, TR-069 and NETGEAR genie for customer support, remote device management and field upgrades. Other features include a 24x8 DOCSIS 3.0 modem, IPv6 support, simultaneous dual-band WiFi AC1900, WiFi Boost and four Gigabit Ethernet ports.
