EXFO (NASDAQ:EXFO) has released the latest software version for its NetBlazer Series for activation and validation of Metro Ethernet Forum CE2.0 Carrier Ethernet services.

The latest release is intended to integrate, into a one-module solution, all the testing functionalities required to activate and validate CE2.0 compliant services used to deliver Ethernet cloud-based services, business services, as well as mobile backhaul services.

Test applications include EtherSAM for multiple classes of service, validation of SyncE/1588 PTP testing to ensure proper synchronization throughout the network, OAM functionalities for automated service management, and ExacTCP to validate the end-user application performance.
