CA Healthcare Provider Taps Comcast Biz

California-based Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System has selected Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) Business Ethernet Dedicated Internet, Ethernet Private Line (EPL) and Comcast Business Internet.

SVMHS sees approximately 98,000 outpatient visits per year and another 10,000 admissions. The healthcare system manages more than 300,000 medical records across the county and provides a spoke connection to dozens of practices and sites across the Central Coast. SVMHS's new Internet-focused solution is intended to decrease service latency and enables SVMHS to double the number of physicians and facilities it is able to support.
